This past Friday, students, staff, and  parents contributed to making our Terry Fox Run/Walk event a success! We all enjoyed beautiful weather as we ran and walked laps of our Bridgeport schoolyard in support of Terry’s Marathon of Hope. Bridgeport Bears raised $1150 for this important cause. In preparation of this event, grade 6 students worked hard researching and then presenting Terry Fox information to all classes. This really helped set the tone for our participation with this event. We would also like to thank Martin’s Apple Farm for their generous donation of apples to support our Terry Fox event again this year! The apples were delicious and we truly appreciate their support!
