From 10:30 until 11:15 today, our entire school and many guests attended our Remembrance Day assembly. It was wonderful to see so many parents, grandparents, and other family and friends come out to join us. Students worked extremely hard to prepare for this special assembly. Poems were read, creative movement scenes were created, songs were sung, videos were shown, and student work focused on Remembrance Day was beautifully displayed around the gym. It was a time to ponder, ‘Is there another way?’ It was also a time for reflection as we remembered those who served and continue to serve today to provide us with the peace and freedom that we are so fortunate to have in Canada.   Fantastic job staff and students. You always make us proud!
