A huge congratulations goes out to Olivia J. in grade 5 for having her submission to the ‘My Ideal City’ writing contest through the City of Kitchener recognized as a winning entry. Olivia’s well written entry discussed expanding the city’s focus on recycling, increasing the number of beds available to patients at Grand River Hospital to better serve people needing health care support, and the development of more housing for homeless people in the city. It is through her well developed thoughts that Olivia possesses a true passion to making our city great. Fantastic work, Olivia!
