Nutrition for Learning has awarded our very own Lisa Yorke, the Grocery Foundation Volunteer Recognition Award. The award is valued at $500, which will be donated to the Bridgeport Public School NFL program. Lisa will be presented the award at the NFL Coordinator meeting, “Strengthening Volunteer Impact 2016”, on Tuesday, November 8 at Forest Hill Public School. This will be Lisa’s third year as the parent coordinator for our NFL Program. She works diligently, coordinating volunteers, ordering food and supplies, completing administrative tasks and filling in wherever and whenever needed. She is a valued parent volunteer in many capacities at Bridgeport P.S. and we are thrilled that she is receiving this recognition! Way to go Lisa!
