Whether you have rsvp’d or not, we are looking forward to seeing you at our first ever Math Matters Parent Night tomorrow from 6:30-8pm in our gym. Light refreshments will be provided and free childcare will be available in our library. We will take time to provide you with a better understanding of how math is taught and how teachers assess student learning, we will offer some examples of math problems that students engage in and discuss the ways students learn math in the classroom, we will provide you with information about the Ontario Math Curriculum, and you will receive a free take-home resource kit for math fun at home. Funding for this event has been made possible bu a Parent Reaching Out (PRO) Grant from the Ontario Ministry of Education. Hope to see you there!
