Dear Parents/Guardians;

 

Despite the weather forecast tomorrow, we are going to proceed with our Annual Summer Picnic. We are remaining optimistic that we will have 90mins of no rain (from 11:30-1:00pm) for this to happen. We encourage all our guests to dress appropriately for the weather and come prepared with a raincoat and umbrella. You may even wish to bring a folding chair to sit on in case the grass is wet. If it is raining heavily, we will need to do our Opening Ceremonies portion inside the gym. Due to space limitations, this would only be for our students, staff, and honorary guests. We deeply apologize, but we simply don’t have space for all our parents. We will make sure that the restored original schoolhouse bell is on display for everyone to see. Remember to wear red and white to pay tribute to Canada’s 150^th and also bring a non-perishable food donation for the Food Bank.

 

We appreciate all the work that has gone in to planning this event. We thank you for your flexibility as well.
