Dear Bridgeport Public School Families,
I want to make you aware of a situation that affected our school today. This morning, before students arrived, we discovered that our tap water was brown. As a precaution, we have removed access to drinking fountains while we flush the water lines. Bottled water has been brought in and is being made available for students and staff. The water in our sinks and toilets remain safe to use.
We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. We are working with our Facilities team and authorities at the Region of Waterloo to get this issue corrected in a timely manner.
We will always take whatever precaution is necessary to ensure the safety of our students and staff. As always, please call me at the school at 519-743-4318 if you have questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Murray Crewson
Principal
