After extensive discussions and concerns regarding the safety of students at Bridgeport Public School the decision has been made to close KISS AND DROP. Effective September 3, 2019, KISS AND DROP will no longer be an option to drop off and pick up your child(ren) from school. There are many other options that are available to use to get your child(ren) safely to and from school:

  • bus
  • walking
  • buddy system
  • parking on a side street and using the crossing guards (Bridle Path and Woolwich)
  • extended day – before and after school care

This has been a very lengthy process which has included staff, parent council and community members. We know that all families share our belief that student safety is first and foremost, so as a result, the decision has been made to close KISS AND DROP effective September 3, 2019. We understand that there will be an adjustment period for families, so with the nice weather approaching it would be a good opportunity to begin using other means to transport your child(ren) to school.

Thank you for your understanding and helping us keep our students safe. Stay tuned for further information which will follow to help with this transition.
