HIP HIP HOORAY!!!! We have amazing and exciting news to share!

After an active and successful run of recent fundraising initiatives, we are thrilled to announce that our playground funding goal of $50,000 has been reached (and then some) and Bridgeport Public School’s new playground is soon to be reality!

We have had an eventful school year planning and fundraising for the new playground and we extend a huge thank you to our families and community for all of your support.

This summer, before the students arrive back in September, the old playground structures will be removed and the new playground will be installed. The playground design incorporates a primary play space and junior challenge circuit with something for all ages and interests. As well, we will have the swing chains and seats replaced, and add kick mats under the swings. Playground mulch will replace the sand around the structures and swings.

We are so very thankful to our community for supporting this important initiative and improving our school surroundings and quality of play for our children.
