Let’s Get Active!

balls

Through the hard work of Zach R. and Ben C. and with support from our amazing School Council, every class at Bridgeport received a brand new bin overflowing with new sports balls for the students to use when they are outside on nutrition breaks or outside for DPA. After Zach and Ben surveyed classes and collated his data, Zach presented their findings in a very professional and effective manner at a recent School Council meeting in an effort to have council allocate funds for the purchase of new equipment for students to use. School Council members were so impressed with Zach’s presentation that they voted in favour of supporting the purchase of new soccer balls, basketballs, footballs, tennis balls, and large bouncy balls. Students are reminded to take good care of their new equipment and share it with friends and classmates and to ensure that everyone is included in games that take place outside. Thank you to Zach, Ben, and our Bridgeport School Council for helping us all stay active! Bridgeport PS is a great place to be!
