Our plan is to raise $50,000 to purchase and install replacement playground equipment that will meet with needs of our students now and well into the future. Our goal is to install the NEW playground in 2019! This is an ambitious target, but one we feel is achievable with the community’s help!
We are undertaking a major fundraising initiative that will include school council fundraising, grants and corporate donations. Student fundraising will kick off with a Dance-a-thon November 15th, followed by other initiatives throughout the year to support this highly valuable project. School council will also submit proposals to federal and provincial grants, and approach local businesses with a corporate recognition initiative.
